New-ish-comers Ben and Erica (Lydia’s brother and his fiancee) and Erick joined in this week.
Andy brought a new game called “Set”, in which you try to select a set of three cards with either everything in common, or nothing in common… It’s a blast… To watch other people playing it as a drinking game! :p Ben and Erica also brought a new game: “Pop 5” from the makers of “Craneum”, where a card is drawn and the opposing team gets to decide which type of challenge will be the most difficult for the other team, and assign point values (1-5) for each challenge-type. The playing team then selects one person to Draw, Sculpt, Humm, Act out (silently, of course!) or do a Letter/word Scramble (roll blocks with letters on them, then say words starting with those letters as descriptors)to get their team to guess item/person/place/whatever on the card. If won, the team gets the number of points assigned to the form of challenge the player picked.
When Ben and Erica had to head home is when Set was brought back out… with alcohol in tow. Unfortunately, not enough alcohol was drunk to make things *truely* interesting… But it was a fun night, nonetheless!
