Friday Night Follow-up
Friday night was great! While we only were able to get one game of Settlers in, it was one hell of a Settlers game.

We played Standard Settlers with the 6 person extended board and the following “add ons”:
Fishing grounds
The Volcano
The Mighty River
For the most part, one half of the map had great numbers and the other half of the board was almost something of a barren outland. While most of seemed to flock to the rich lands of the east, Keith made for the western outlands giving him plenty of room to run the longest road, linking all of his fishing grounds. At the same time Andi and T made their stakes on the mighty river while Justin settled down near the south west end of the lands. Lydia moved in later grabbing whatever could be had.
The game was close, Keith and Justin leveraged their fish to gain the resources needed to extend their roads, battling for the longest road, often drawing form Andi for those resources. The end came with Justin dumping “the boot” (+1 to win) on Keith and eeking out the last couple roads needed to pull longest road from Keith and take the win.
